too tiredSometimes, we get tired easily. If only we had some sort of personal energy auditor, to measure how much we have spent already, so we’d know exactly when to stop. But this is not the case, so what we need to do is know our body better to determine the signs of starting fatigue. Now what are quick ways to boost your energy? Deep breathing has been known to be effective. Spending at least 20 minutes of rest everyday also is a suggested way to keep up that energy level throughout the day. Taking stress-free multivitamins can help. All these can aid in reserving enough energy for the things that we enjoy doing.

Yes. You read it right. There are food that will subdue your appetite without adding excess and unwanted pounds to your weight. These negate the need for taking phentermine or enrolling in ridiculously overpriced diet programs.

So what are these food?

First in the list is nuts, particularly pine nuts. It contains an acid that helps curb hunger, aside from being high in protein. Second is apple. Not only are they high in fiber, the requirement to chew it thoroughly also suppresses one’s appetite. During meals, salads and soups are also highly suggested. Both will effectively make you feel less hungry. So really, dieting doesn’t have to mean zero food intake.

oatmeal in bowlBesides being the perfect breakfast from a health standpoint, oatmeal also benefits our outer appearance directly, specifically when used as an acne medication. It’s even so simple to make. How? Prepare oatmeal the way you cook it for eating. Add honey to make the mask pasty and stick to your skin. While applying the mask to your face, avoid contact with the eyes, as it can irritate it. Leave for about ten to twenty minutes, and wash off thoroughly. You may also consider putting tea bag on your eyelids while applying the mask to prevent eye irritation. That’s it! Easy peasy, right?

We always do our best when we see ourselves having a bulging tummy, but sometimes even the modern life stops us in shedding those extra pounds. Ever get tired of waking up in the morning just to be disappointed on what you’ll see in the weighing scale. Why not consider having your very own weight loss program. I’ve listed down some of the things that I have tried before that worked, maybe you can try adding more afterwards.

  1. Weigh yourself no more than twice a week and do it in the morning after going to the bathroom – it’s the most accurate reading.
  2. Have a sweet treat once a week
  3. Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day.
  4. Always eat sitting down.
  5. Have someone else put away leftovers.
  6. Shop for food when you are not hungry, and use a shopping list
  7. Limit your cheese consumption to reduce fat and saturated fat—use cheese and lunchmeat with less than 5 grams of fat per ounce.
  8. Keep healthful snacks at home and at work
  9. Choose pizza with vegetable toppings rather than high-fat meats, such as sausage and pepperoni
  10. Learn to say “no” gracefully when a friend or relative offers you a second helping.
