Diamonds and Beauty

My brother is back in the Philippines. He says that he’s excited to go home so he can have his facial and diamond peel. My brother told me that diamond peeling is a facial treatment that uses a pencil like wand that has disposable diamonds in its tip. It rotates super fast once the machine is switched on. The face would be prepared with some facial cream that soothes the face making the pores a little bit bigger.

The skin would be pulled by a vacuum which is part of the wand, black and whiteheads will be literally pulled out too. The skin is pulled towards the diamond tip and from there dirt and dead skin cells will be scraped off also. After this diamond session your face would be red and a little bit swollen like tomatoes. Like a tomato, your new skin is easily bruise so avoid touching it and you must apply sunblock to your face prevent premature skin damages.

Since this is a treatment that encourages skin peeling, you are advice to stay at home for one straight week for the facial skin to mature without sun damages or if you cant stay home that long you can use sunblocks with spf protection. After this, you’ll eventually feel and see the difference on your  face.

Stress and Beauty

No matter how many tons of beauty products you use everyday, there is still no better way to maintain your beauty other than being stress-free. Yep. That means no worrying about credit reports or bills. We all know that those are part of our lives, so why feel so stressed about it when you can take it easy and not worry so much? Remember that Swahili term from the movie Lion King Hakuna Matata? It means “no worries”, and that’s exactly what we need to believe in if one is to stay stress-free not only for one’s beauty, but more importantly for our health.

Motherhood and Beauty

The prospect of being a mom excites me more than I dare admit. I try to imagine myself as a mom already. Would I be a cool mom? A strict mother to my child? Would I still be able to care for myself like I do now when I finally have a baby to take care of?

I dream to become like one of those Hollywood hot mommas (but none of the intrigues, of course. Haha!) who seem to always have Priori Skin Care products at hand because of their flawless look. I wonder if they order it from the To Me Love Me Skincare website? It would be a dream come true for me, to stay as fresh-looking as now that I still don’t have a baby when I finally have a tot to care care of. Anyone want to give me a Vitage Skin Care gift set for my baby shower? Hee hee. That would be a good place to start.

Acne and Skin care

You may actually not remember it but way back long in college, you struggled to hide those irritating pimples. I know its a nightmare for everyone to see those bulging heads growing at the sides of your nose but its normal especially for teenagers and adults.

As a person grows, hormones and organs start to do their jobs. One of these organs is the sebaceous gland which is responsible for acne’s. The more active this organ is, the more acne we have, the more acne we have the more we invest in a acne treatment.

Well acne is unavoidable but you can still slows it down. Acne’s are formed due to a bacteria that resides in your face. The more oil the happier the bacteria gets, the happier it gets the more infection it can cause to the face. Washing alone can stop pimple from happening, that also depends on what type of facial wash your using, for me I mostly use up tea tree soap, my brother use local soaps and my friends also have their own favorite soaps. Always remember not all branded soaps are the same, you just have to choose what suits your skin cause sometimes it may irritate the skin which might make it worst.

Slather on Tea

To help supplement the efforts of the skin’s built-in forces in the battle against free radicals (the skin-ravaging molecules stimulated by the sun, tobacco smoke and smog), antioxidants like vitamins C and E are being added to skincare products. So are green tea extracts, such as certain polyphenols, which are powerful studies show that these substances, applied directly to the skin, do eliminate the effects of free radicals, there’s little clinical evidence that most are effective at reversing existing signs of aging. Antioxidants are a good adjunct to sunscreen to help prevent further damage.
