Coffee Improves Grammar and Your Moods

It’s almost a common sight every morning to see men and women making a mad dash to work, with a cup of hot coffee in hand.  Most of us find it an important part of our morning ritual to sip a hot cuppa.  And the workday wouldn’t be complete without occasional coffee breaks.  If you’re still thinking of a reason to throw out that bunn coffee brewer your co-worker gave you as a present last Christmas, better think again, as there are quite a few interesting benefits to drinking coffee.

According to a new study in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, the caffeine in coffee can actually help one spot grammatical errors!  Researchers discovered that caffeine helped students correct errors in subject-verb agreement, and in verb tenses.

If you’re the type who easily gets depressed, you would be pleased to know that according to a Harvard study, women coffee-drinkers have a lower risk of depression than their non-coffee-drinking counterparts.  Women who drink 2-3 cups a days have a 15 percent lower risk, according to research findings.

Coffee not only tastes good, but it does you good as well.  Just like everything else though, drink coffee in moderation.
